Training

In association with the Quality Mark Scheme, it is a requirement for the designated worker at each outlet to have completed the OCN level 3 training in “Delivering Information Work to Young People”. Canllaw Online offers support and consultancy to assist the outlet workers in achieving this accreditation. To date, Canllaw Online has delivered OCN level 1 & 3 training to 170 information workers in Wales, with additional funds being made available through the Staff College. Canllaw Online collaborates with the UK Eurodesk partner and delivers Eurodesk training to the Info Outlet network.

Canllaw Online also offers training to young people, such as “Discount Card Training with Young People” and “Information Services on the Internet for Young People”. All courses are designed professionally and are delivered by experienced, professional trainers.
