Visions

What is “Visions?”

The YOUTH Programme funded “Visions in Youth Information” project is designed to evaluate the future of information services for young people within the next ten years across Europe.

Representatives from the nine participating European countries will attend a conference in September of 2003 to discuss national and European youth information delivery vehicles and services. The findings will be documented in the form of a report and action plan to be implemented by each of the nine countries.

Canllaw Online is the co-ordinating partner for Wales and is working with the Info Outlet network in realising this project.

Benefit to Wales:

Wales is to be party to an international forum specifically tasked with analysing current information services for young people, with a view to continuing development and improvement of both content and delivery in the next ten years.

This will result in better pan-European training platforms and a heightened support network for workers in information services for young people.
