What I do at Canllaw Online:
I do most of the design work at Canllaw Online, such as posters, booklets, leaflets etc. I am the CREDU Helpdesk Leader and update the Canllaw Online websites, including the CREDU portal. Like all Canllaw Online staff, I pitch in and help out in other areas when needed.

Why I’m the best person for this job:
I think I’m the best! No, really, I think I’m very capable of carrying out all the tasks required for my role.  I’d like to think that I am qualified after doing my level 3 NVQ in ICT while at Canllaw Online. I am also good at communicating and working with other people in an office environment.  But I make really bad tea and coffee, so beware!

Why Canllaw Online and information for young people:
Well it’s a funny story really; I came to Canllaw originally to do an NVQ level 3 in ICT and got offered the job on my second day. I never thought I’d be working in this type of job or even getting a job at that point, but it has been a real eye opening experience and I’ve enjoyed every minute here. Oh, and the team here are FAB!

What I did before Canllaw Online:
I spent most of my time at home after finishing school, mostly doing texture work for game modifications and web design. I learnt how to use a lot of programmes in that space of time such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash. I then went on to do NVQ’s level 1 & 2 in ICT and eventually landed here on planet Canllaw where I was brainwashed and chained to a desk.   Only joking!

What I want to do, but haven’t done yet:
I’ve always wanted to go into the Video game industry, maybe doing texture work or concept design for games.

What I wanted to be when I was little:
Hitman, Power Ranger, Pokemon Master - there were a few.

Favourite holiday spot:
Cancun, Mexico.

Favourite dish:
Scampi & Chips

Favourite cartoon character:
Cartman from Southpark - everything he says makes me laugh!

Favourite Album:
The Chronic 2001 by Dr Dre; it’s the only album I have listened to over and over again without skipping a track.

Favourite Music Artist:
At the moment, Snoop Dogg.

Favourite Book:
I’m not a book person at all, but from the very few I’ve read, it would have to be Of Mice and Men.

Favourite Film:
The 5th Element.

Any weird phobias?  
That one day technology will overrun mankind!
