What I do at Canllaw Online:
I am responsible for maintaining and updating an in-house built database containing information about everyone associated with Canllaw Online.  I also work on the CREDU Helpdesk providing support to all our Digilabs around the country.  I do some work with Photoshop where I help to design some images for some of our publications.  But all in all I do what I’m asked and help where I can.

Why I’m the best person for this job:
When I left school I studied computers in college.  From this I learnt the basic principles which allowed me the confidence in my abilities to start pursuing work in the IT industry. So when I came to Canllaw Online with the qualifications I gained from college and the experience gained in both the Public and Private Work sector, my skills suited the role I undertook.

Why Canllaw Online and information for young people:
I couldn’t ask for a better job: not only do I love doing the job I do, but I am surrounded by great people which always makes your job easier.
My colleagues at Canllaw are dedicated and committed to helping young people which has always been something I had been leaning towards in the past, so when I was lucky enough to land this job working with PCs and helping young people, I was, to say the least, over the moon. I get a feeling of self worth knowing that what I do helps people and to be able to get all this from a job is all good.

What I did before Canllaw Online:
I have had quite a few jobs, varying from the Jobcentre, running vacancy management, to BT, where I worked in a high security datacentre supporting companies like AOL and Pipex for line support.  I also worked at the National Assembly for Wales where I was IT support for the Assembly members and their staff.

What I want to do, but haven’t done yet:
I would like to travel; I want to put a bag on my back, empty my bank account and see how much of the world I can see.

What I wanted to be when I was little:
A Graphic Designer (I wasn’t a normal kid)
